
Leaders have a responsibility under the OHS Act to protect the psychological health of employees. Psychosocial hazards are known to lead to psychological injuries, when not identified and controlled. In this workshop, leaders will learn how to identify psychosocial hazards in the workplace and adopt a risk management approach for controlling the risks. This workshop will also educate leaders on how to recognise signs of compromised mental health in employees and intervene early.
Leaders will leave with:
- An understanding of the 13 psychosocial risks
- Understand legal obligations for controlling risks
- Confidence in recognising the early warning signs of compromised mental health
- An increased knowledge of how to support employees at work
